Few days back it was leaked that world’s most popular smartphone messaging app Whatsapp was working on a web based client. Finally it has been publicly available and the feature is called “WhatsApp Web,” which gives its users the ability to read and send messages directly from their web browsers.
How to use WhatsApp on Desktop ?
- Simply open Google Chrome and navigate to http://web.whatsapp.com
- A QR code will appear on the web page, scan that using WhatsApp mobile app to activate the service.
- By scanning the QR code, users will automatically have paired their mobile WhatsApp with the WhatsApp web client.
To use the new feature WhatsApp Web users need to install and run the latest Whatsapp version of the Android app. The latest feature is currently available for Android, Windows Phone, and BlackBerry.
